Chakras: Seven Energy Centers of the Body

Chakras originate from Sanskrit, meaning "wheel" or "spinning energy center." In Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist traditions, the body has seven main chakras aligned along the spine, each corresponding to specific body parts, glands, colors, elements, and spiritual lessons. The seven chakras: Root (survival and grounding), Sacral (creativity and emotions), Solar Plexus (personal power), Heart (love and compassion), Throat (expression and truth), Third Eye (intuition), and Crown (spiritual connection).
