Ba Zi: Fundamentals of Chinese Destiny Analysis

Ba Zi, also known as Four Pillars of Destiny, is the core system of traditional Chinese destiny analysis. It calculates a person's life trajectory based on the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches combinations of their birth year, month, day, and hour. There are ten Heavenly Stems and twelve Earthly Branches. The four pillars create eight characters, hence the name Ba Zi (Eight Characters). By analyzing the Five Elements relationships, Ten Gods interactions, and major life cycles, one can understand personality traits, career direction, relationships, and life patterns.
